Tarpon Fishing Season Begins . . . when the tarpon arrive

In Southwest Florida, that usually means sometime in March or April, through sometime in July or August. We keep fishing until the fish decide to leave. Although you can catch them just about year-round, the season begins when the migrating tarpon arrive en masse.

Busy season – Tarpon season is a busy season for fishing with Captain Mark. The busiest times from mid April into early July get booked up fast! We encourage you to book your trip to Fly Fish for Tarpon, as far in advance as possible.

Captain Mark can offer tips and information to help you get ready for your fishing adventure. Call to discuss what you need to know, and to secure your dates for the adventure of a lifetime!
